Liverpool Restaurant Guide

Look up any Liverpool restaurant guide and you cannot miss the Albert Dock - located at the edge of the city centre. There is no dearth of stylish cafes, bars and restaurants in this side of Liverpool. Do not miss the Blue Bar and Grill, Baby Blue or the Pan American if you are seeking a symphony of tastes ranging from sushi and Nova Scotian to cold sandwitches and global fusion food.

Other favorites on Albert Dock are Tate Gallery's and Casa Italia. The Casa Italia lures customers with the wafting aroma of herbs. Est Est Est is yet another restaurant in Liverpool that has been a haunt of many. It is part of a chain that has a presence all over the UK. 60 Hope Street began as a gentleman's club and is now a chic club that offers a sumptuous buffet.

You can sample some modern British cuisine or USA fusion cooking in a stylish ambience. No guide to Liverpool restaurants would miss out the Pumphouse - a traditional pub that overlooks the docks and offers hot meals and curries as well as a range of quiches and salads. The seafood joint Mister Ms allows you to choose from a range of crustacean options. You can also sample the steak chateaubriand and poached lobster.

Chinatown offers some reasonably priced restaurants. If Greek food is your choice for the day, head for Christakis on York Street or Bellapais on Bixteth Street. You can also experience live Greek music and belly dancing performances. St Petersburg is perhaps the only Russian restaurant in this part of the country. The Sapporo Teppanyaki is a favorite with connoisseurs of Japanese cuisine.
